HILLTOP HIDEAWAY

PROJECTS

We gutted this tired 1930's concrete block house, staying within the original footprint but opening it up for better flow and more natural light  We moved a tiny apartment onto the lot that had the same casement windows as the main house, and then landscaped the entire property to try to unify the two structures and capitalize on the beautiful hilltop view of the western hills. The result was a park-like retreat in the middle of downtown Austin.
