TEXAS TRANSPLANT

After living for decades in Seattle, our client moved to Texas with only one small crate of belongings.  He asked us to furnish his soon-to-be-empty new house in Georgetown and create a neutral-toned masculine, Texas feel.  So we allocated his budget to changing the white tile firepalce facade to limestone, warming up the paint colors, and purchasing the most foundational pieces--rugs, furniture and art.  We gave a nod to Texas for sure, but also incorporated his family's Finnish heritage, his personal interests and hobbies, and his love of mid-century modern things. Over the years, he can build on this foundation to make this house his home.
