We revitalized this 1950's ranch style Amarillo home, doing most of the work ourselves to keep costs to a minimum.  We tweaked the footprint to create a larger master bath and borrow space from an adjoining bedroom to create master closets.  Other than that, all the work was cosmetic.  We removed the tired carpet, steamed off some 80's wallpaper, added lots of molding and built-ins, and did lots of painting.
